Okay so I changed my nails from my orange rainbow funfest manicure to this mani. It is Maybelline's Color Show in Iced Queen with Milani's Jewel FX in Lavender. I am not really a big fan of Iced Queen, because it is more of a grayish purple, not a real true lilac that is shown in the bottle. And so my quest goes on for a quality nail polish in lilac and purple.

New Nails!!!
Okay guys so I decided to change my nails...again! The base color is Sally Hansen's Sun Kissed, which is a light, creamy orange, kind of like the color of the cheese powder to make kraft mac and cheese, and over it I have a Pic-A-Colour nail polish which is like a dupe for a dupe. It is like Milani's Gems, which is the dupe for OPI's Rainbow Connection. I would recommend putting it over either a white, black or a color that is one of the glitter colors. I would recommend like a pink or aqua or even an orange or green.
Here it is!!!

New Nail Time!
Okay so with the polishes that I got in wednesday, I made a manicure first with Black Out by Sally Hansen and Shine of the Times by Essie. I really liked it and thought that it looked cool. Here it is down below!
Also, I recently changed my manicure to Fuchsia Fever by Maybelline and Lightning Bolt by China Glaze (White Crackle). This looks really cool, but just as a warning, i advise you to put either the purple over a similar color or put multiple coats. It took 5-6 coats to get this color.

New Nails!!
Okay guys so this is my first post for a while, so I am sorry! I have gotten all of the polishes I believe, so here are what they are! I got one regular polish, one magnetic polish, and two crackle/shatter polishes. I got a set from the Fergie collection, and two polishes from a swap. Also, I FINALLY got the striper brushes so I am happy about that as well.
Here are the polishes, their names, and what I think about them!
Wet 'n Wild's Rock Solid in Beautiful and Bronze

I really like this polish, and I am actually wearing it on my nails now. It is a pretty rose gold color, very similar to Orly's Rage. My only problem with it is that you have to apply at least two coats to get it fully opaque. But otherwise, it is a GREAT polish.
Nabi's Magnetic Nail Polish in Purple: This is a great magnetic polish, and it is a beautiful color even without the magnet. With the magnet, it creates horizontal lines, and it is like a soft mauve-ish color along with the purple. Overall, great polish!
Lastly, Maybelline Salon Expert in Pinkaholic and Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength in Sunrise, Sunset: I really havent tried either one yet, but I love the colors, and I really hope that they look as pretty as they do in the bottle!!
That is it for my nail polishes, and here are the brushes that I got!

I recently purchased I recently purchased a set of three brushes so instead of buying multiple different striper polishes, I can just dip them into any polish I want, and it will serve as a striper. Then I just have to get all the polish off, and I can dip it into another polish and it will keep changing.

China Glaze's Lightning Bolt (White Crackle) and OPI's Black Shatter:
I really have never had good experiences with crackle polishes, until I tried these two. They worked like a God for me. Especially the OPI polish. Both did their job very well, so there wasn't much bad to say about them.
Fergie by Wet 'n Wild's in No Place Like Home and Clear Top Coat:
I have yet to try the No Place Like Home polish, but if it is anything like the top coat, I will be happy. The brushes were very wide, so I am happy about that, and it was fast drying. I love the consistency, and they are just overall great!

Sorry guys! I feel like I am letting you down, if there even is anyone to let down, but I am quitting the nail-a-day challenge. I have midterms coming up, and a lot of tests and projects as well, so I don't have any time, what so ever. So, I am sorry, but I will continue to post pictures of my nails and my outfits when I can, and I am thinking of doing a haul type of thing towards the end of the month as to what new clothes I got and beauty products as well, both on my youtube channel (primandpolish) and I will post pictures of them on here too, explaining where I got them and how much they were.

Outfit of the Night!
Okay guys so tonight I am going out to dinner with my family and I just thought that I should post a picture of what I was wearing because I thought it looked cute! So I have my beloved combat boots, Minty green corduroys from Missoni by Target, and just a cute mini-cable knit navy sweater. Sorry that the sweater isn't shown, I couldn't get any good pictures with the whole outfit.
Day 11!!
Okay so it's Day 11 and that you know what that means! Polka Dots! I LOVE POLKA DOTS! (If you haven't already noticed!)
So this is basically my fail of large dots, but on my left hand, I used Sinful Color's Island Coral, and my accent finger is Sally Hansens XTreme Wear's Pacific Blue. I used to call Island Coral a dupe for China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy, but they are not a like at all! Flip Flop Fantasy is much more of neon, while Island Coral is almost a pastel coral. By the way, you can get Sinful Colors at Walgreens on sale for 99 cents! (They usually cost $1.99, so they are always cheap.) I would just like to let you know that the Sinful Color polishes come in 5 Billion different colors (well, not really) but they go on very sheer, so you must apply two to three coats to get the color that is in the bottle onto your nails.

Day 10!!
Hey guys so this is my fail at the Gradient look. If you were wondering, I used one of those eye shadow foam brush things, and I painted a tip and sponged it down the nail. I am using Milani's U Pinky Swear as the light pink, and Fiesta is the hot pink. I am going to try this weekend to get more nail polish and sponges and reinforcers and stuff like that so I don't have to make and more posts saying that I can't complete a day.

MY BABIESSSS!!!!
I am SO happy that my boots finally came!! I have been waiting since october to get a pair of combat boots and now, I am happy! I bought them on Amazon for $39.95 (shipping included). They are my favorite shoes of all time that I own!
Day 9
Guys, I feel like I am letting you all down because I just simply don't have enough polish to do rainbow nails. I just don't think they will look right, and I have a feeling that I am going to mess up a lot for the gradient nails. I am going to try them out tonight, and I will probably just keep them for the two days, and get ready for the patterns to start!!
Sorry :(

Day 8!!!
Alright so today is metallic nails, so I thought that my magnetic polish would look super cute! It is Nabi's Purple Magnetic.
How To:
How To:
- First, if you want, you can apply a base coat, but I usually just skip a base coat.
- Apply one coat of the nail polish.
- Then, going one nail at a time, apply a generous second coat. Immediately after, hold the magnet as close to the nail as you can without touching it.
- Repeat step three on all of the other nails.
- Add a top coat, and your done!
Final Product!
Day 7!!
Alright so yesterday was black and white day (sorry I am a day late) and this is just a drugstore brand polish and OPI's Black Shatter on top. I was uber happy because I tried the Sally Hansen one once, and it didn't crackle at all, and then I tried the white OPI and it didn't look that good, but that was probably two years ago maybe?!?

Day 6!!!!
Okay, so today is Day 6 of this challenge, so that means I have to have purple nails. Sadly, I only have one true purple, and it is a glitter, so here are two purple polishes that I want. The first one is Butter London's Knackered, and it is like a mix of lilac and blue, with greenish shimmers. The second one is just Deborah Lippmann's Rain.

Day 5!!!
So I just got back from my track meet, and here is Day 5's Blue nail polish. I recreated one of the nail polish patterns from a week ago I think, so it will look very familiar! It is Essie's Borrowed and Blue, and then Sally Hansen XTreme Wear's Pacific Blue on the accent nail.

Day 4!!
YAY! So guys, umm i think this is the farthest I have ever gotten on one of these photo-a-day things! So today is green, so I am wearing Essie's Pretty Edgy. It is a jade-ish green, and it dries kind of matte, so I didn't put a top coat on.
Also, three polishes came in the mail today! Yay! So I'm gonna do a haul kinda thing once I get everything, and this blog is now going to serve as fashion and nail polish blog! I won't post until very late tomorrow because I have a track meet tomorrow, so wish me luck!

Day 3
Hey guys, so sorry, I don't have a yellow polish as of today, so this is a yellow polish that I really want to get. It is called Lemon Fizz and it is by China Glaze.
Wednesday, January 2, 2013
Day 2!
Here are my Day Two nails! It is Essie's Orange, It's Obvious, and Milani's U Pinky Swear as the polka dots.
I am surprised that I am actually staying with it! They have things like these on Instagram, and I have never completely finished them so... hopefully this won't be like that!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!!!
Alright guys, so HAPPY NEW YEAR'S! Also, today is Day One of the nail a day challenge! So here are the nails that I wore today. The base color (red) is from the Pic-A-Color Fall Palate, so I am not sure of the name. The top, glittery coat is Essie's Shine of the Times.
