My First Gradient!!

So today I did my first gradient manicure. To learn how, follow the steps below!! If you already know, my mani will be pictured at the bottoms of this post!

MATERIALS:
Base Coat
White Nail Polish
Three Cohesive Polishes
Top Coat
Makeup Sponge
Q-Tips
Nail Polish Remover

How To:
1. Remove all nail polish from the nail and apply a base coat. I used Revlon Colorstay Gel-Smooth Base Coat ($4.99 at Target).
2. Apply two coats of a white polish, or until full opacity. I used OPI Alpine Snow ($8.00 at Ulta).
3. Paint a heavy stripe onto the makeup sponge of each polish, making sure one overlaps the one above it. The three polishes I used were NYC In A Minute color in 221 Spring Street ($1.72 at Target), then Zoya Jancyn ($5.99 at TJ Maxx), and lastly Sally Hansen Hard as Nails XTreme Wear in 360 Mellow Yellow ($3.19 at CVS).
4. After applying, remove the remaining polish around your finger. Apply a top coat and your done! The top coat used was NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel in 271 Extra Shiny Top Coat ($0.94 at Target).

I really love this manicure and will be sure to replicate throughout the summer!!
